Project Management

Knowledge, Communication, Responsiveness

The importance the role of project manager plays in a clinical trial cannot be understated. They are the key point of contact to our sponsors and the champion of each project. Their responsibilities are vast, their skills must be many and their knowledge must be wide ranging. Their relationship with the sponsor can be a key determinant in the success of a trial. With that in mind VirtualScopics thoughtfully assesses each study and chooses the project management team best suited for each study.

Our project managers are indoctrinated to the industry through a comprehensive training program that prepares them for the rigors of study trials. Not only do they possess the requisite industry knowledge, they are instilled with a sense of urgency, and to work in an environment of open communication and responsiveness.

When you initiate a project with VirtualScopics you will be assigned a project management team consisting of a Senior Project Manager, Project Manager and an Associate Project Manager. This team will manage all aspects of your study for the duration of your study.

Project Management responsibilities include the management of:

  • Project scope
  • Timeline
  • Budget
  • Resource allocation
  • Communication Plan (among VirtualScopics, Sponsor and Imaging sites)
  • Risk Mitigation
  • Procurement
  • Regular status updates to the study sponsor at agreed upon intervals
