Oncology

We have developed a highly automated and regulatory compliant system for both structural and functional tumor evaluation. We are able to rapidly and reliably provide standard clinical measurements from MRI and CT images such as those defined by the RECIST and WHO standards, while also generating more advanced endpoints such as tumor volume. Additionally, we have extensive experience in providing perfusion measurements for the evaluation of tumor blood supply using dynamic contrast enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) and CT data, as well as in providing metabolic analyses using PET and PET/CT images.

Here is a sample of the Oncology biomarkers that we provide:

Tumor Response Evaluation, RECIST Measurements (Cheson and Macdonald criteria)

  • Longest diameter measurements for target lesions (mm)
  • Sum of the longest diameter for target lesions (mm)
  • % change in sum of longest diameter

CT Volumetric Structural Measurements (Response Assessment)

  • Tumor Volume (mm3)
  • Major axis (axial plane) (mm)
  • Minor axis (axial plane) (mm)
  • Cross product (axial plane) (mm2)
  • Maximum lesion area (axial plane) (mm2)
  • Major axis (all planes) (mm)
  • Minor axis (all planes) (mm)
  • Cross product (all planes) (mm2)
  • Radio-density in HU (CT data only) (HU)

DCE-MRI Perfusion Measurements (for the identified target lesion; Lee model)

  • Mean and median AUCBN(90) (for total volume)
  • Mean and median Ktrans (for total volume) (1/min)
  • Total volume and non-perfused volume (mm3)
  • Perfused Ktrans (1/min) and AUCBN(90)

FDG-PET Measurements

  • Maximum SUV (Single Pixel) (g/ml)
  • Maximum SUV (1cm Spot) (g/ml)
  • Average Metabolic SUV (g/ml)
  • Metabolic Volume (mm3)
  • Total Tumor Volume (mm3)
